In December 2009 the Leadership Lab partners hosted a day of exploration in leadership development through the examination of authenticity and integrity. For some, it was a day of more questions than answers; for everyone is brought up new ways of looking at their roles and practice.

Turning Creative Thinking Into Strategic Planning: Using storytelling as a business tool

Learning CloudLeadership lab is all about innovative and creative ways of developing leadership skills. But what does storytelling have to do with leadership? Surely it’s just something for children?


On this Leadership Lab ‘Taster’ day, led by by Sharon Richards and Amanda Kinané, participants had the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of the science behind why stories are such a powerful tool to use at work. The session explored the numerous possibilities for applying stories to achieve leadership goals.
